any given project requires a certain set of knowledge and skills. in the case of music production, some skills might include the ability to read musical notation, an understanding of music theory, facility with your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) of choice, and the ability to play notes on a keyboard.

at the start of embarking on something totally new, you will not know all of the skills and knowledge you’ll need to bring the project to fruition; you might have some idea, but by definition, you will be operating within territory that you will not fully understand.

the crucial thing to recognize is that this is OK and an entirely natural part of the process. once you’ve found a foothold, your goal should then be to use the knowledge you’ve accumulated to start identifying other key concepts, knowledge, or skills that you will need. start building, and you will gradually start bumping into new things you don’t understand. use the same approach you used to find a foothold and apply it here.
