In the summer of 2020, I interned remotely for Butchershop Creative, a collaborative, culture-driven design agency based out of downtown San Francisco. As a way of sharing our internship experience with the broader community, I collaborated with Leen Azmeh, our intern cohort's copywriter, to produce editorial content exploring what we'd learned during our time there. As an agency built on practical, process-proven creative wisdom, I felt it fitting to use lettering as a means of expressing ideals I'd come to live by, both as a Butchershop intern and as a designer: take risks, put yourself out there, and get comfortable with discomfort.
